Joey's Painting...
Almost done....
I started on this piece for a friend Joey Covington, if you remember, and have been a avid reader of my blog I put up pictures of this piece when I was just roughing it in on the canvas even before I primed it... I am using sketches I did on the compuer, based on photos I had of Joey, one in particular, that I then used to create the sketch, and then the image for the painting... This is all acrylic on canvas. The piece is a special construction canvas, that measures i6 inces by 20 inches, and is 2 inches deep. Just so hard to take good pictures, lots of glare from the finish on the acrylics...

Picture of the piece in the Shop... Haven't decided if there will be a drumkit added or not..
The image is pretty close to done... I just hope Joey likes it...This was done over the course of a couple of weeks, however the piece was completed in just two nights.... I really need to start producing artwork, and I had promised Joey that I would have this done for him soon...
