THE BIG BLOG BY TRAVI$-New Sports Themed Artwork

NEW ARTWORK BY TRAVIS

Sports Themed Paintings.....

Hey Everyone,

Just weanted to do a quick update on new pieces that I have been working on, both are sports themed, and both are in different styles...

The first piece is of Usain Bolt, the Olympic World Record holder in the 100m, and the 200m...
Just a combo of Sharpie and Acrylic... The piece really pops, with all the extra line work... It measures 18"x 24" and is on canvas... Ready to be framed or mounted on the wall as is....

Usain Bolt....

Detail of the piece, you can see the linework...

Another detail of Bolt's legs pumping...

Close-up of the arms, and the movement in the piece...

Close shot of his leg surging upward...

NEXT......
This piece is of Micheal Irvin when the Playmaker was still making plays for the Cowboys...
It is acrylic on canvas, and measures 18"x24", and is ready for framing or it can be mounted on the wall in your office or gameroom, and it will really look sweet. Perfect for any Cowboys fan.

Full shot of the piece, you can feel the energy...

You can't see it as well in this detail, but the helmet is reflective metallic....

Detail of the crowd and the official running with the play...
Another close shot of Irvin...
Detail of his hand reaching up for the ball...
Just wanted to let you all see these pieces, hope you like them... Also, look for our new handouts and flyers featuring these pieces and other sports related paintings coming soon....
Have a great day.
Peace,
Travis

The Big Blog By Travi$- New Project- A Painting for Joey

Joey's Painting...
Almost done....
I started on this piece for a friend Joey Covington, if you remember, and have been a avid reader of my blog I put up pictures of this piece when I was just roughing it in on the canvas even before I primed it... I am using sketches I did on the compuer, based on photos I had of Joey, one in particular, that I then used to create the sketch, and then the image for the painting... This is all acrylic on canvas. The piece is a special construction canvas, that measures i6 inces by 20 inches, and is 2 inches deep. I hope you like the end result... if you want to compare the pics of the finished to the previous click here:
Close-up of Joey's face gives better feel of the color of the piece..

Just so hard to take good pictures, lots of glare from the finish on the acrylics...

Detail of Joey's Face...

Picture of the piece in the Shop... Haven't decided if there will be a drumkit added or not..

The image is pretty close to done... I just hope Joey likes it...

This was done over the course of a couple of weeks, however the piece was completed in just two nights.... I really need to start producing artwork, and I had promised Joey that I would have this done for him soon...
Peace,
Travis
