Just a quick heads-up for all of you guys out there... Had the pleasure to be interviewed for an upcoming story on the World Cup Show at Crewest Gallery. Hopefully I will be a part of the piece centered on soccer inspired artwork, scheduled to air during FSC coverage of the World Cup!!!

Chelsea vs Inter Milan at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.......

Manda got us tickets for this match, so awesome... It took us awhile to get there, and we missed the first half... but we still had fun, despite all the shit.... Thank you baby for getting these tickets..... I hope that Megan and Brim had fun too.... I think they did....

There was a huge crowd, over 80,000 people that showed up to see this match

So awesome to see the Rose Bowl filled... My first trip to the stadium, and it was to see Chelsea...too Cool

THE FUNK RUMBLE..... JULY 11th, 2009.............................

Manda and I had our first show together... She made jewelry, printed out some of her best photos, She has really emerged as an excellent artist with the camera... I brought my paintings, shoes, and some currency cans and cash-wrapped objects, as well as the clothing that she and I made together and a painting that we both did together...

I want to thank Michelle Corros, and Spektr, As well as The Flock Shop and Chinatown for having this event.

I also want to thank those that bought artwork, and jewelry...especially Mikeal Maglieri, who purchased my painting A Storm Brewing Hawaiian Style... I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did making it and talking to you about it. Thanks man.

I need to also thank Manda and my parents for putting up the cash and always supporting us in all our endeavors... we love you both so much....THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

The Cicada has more Lalique Glass than any other building in the world...including this beautiful chandelier...

The entire place is so sharp...so Art Deco... Olivatt really knew what he was doing.

I tried to raise money for charity, but no one bid on my painting... long night... I was invited up on stage to address the audience, and as I told them, I was just happy to be a part of it all... And Al B. Sure performed.... he was great, and so was his son... very entertaining, almost made up for the rest of the night.

I just finished with the Texas Relays Painting, just in time for my Pop to take it down and show all his friends at the meet. I really had a blast completing this guy and getting it out to my Dad. I know that everyone enjoyed seeing it, and I just wanted to get the guys right for my Pop... They were all three friends that worked together at the relays for years. My Dad, Dr. Douglas Moore is on the left, His pal Rooster Andrews is in the middle, and on the end his other buddy, Tex Kassen. The piece is entitled Three Friends Who Love Track.

JOEY GETS HIS PAINTING!!!!

Just wanted to give you guys and update on the painting I did for Joey. I finally got it together and took it up to give it to him at his "office", The Rainbow Bar & Grill. So luckily Mike was there and he took our picture together.. Then I took their picture, anyway... We had a slice of pizza, and I thanked him again for signing a headshot for my folks... They gave it to a kiddo that plays the drums at the local high school. They thought it might inspire him, and Joey obliged... Great buddy. I hope he likes the painting... I think he did. I enjoyed doing it for him.

Hey Everyone,

Just weanted to do a quick update on new pieces that I have been working on, both are sports themed, and both are in different styles...

The first piece is of Usain Bolt, the Olympic World Record holder in the 100m, and the 200m...
Just a combo of Sharpie and Acrylic... The piece really pops, with all the extra line work... It measures 18"x 24" and is on canvas... Ready to be framed or mounted on the wall as is....

Joey's Painting...

Almost done....

I started on this piece for a friend Joey Covington, if you remember, and have been a avid reader of my blog I put up pictures of this piece when I was just roughing it in on the canvas even before I primed it... I am using sketches I did on the compuer, based on photos I had of Joey, one in particular, that I then used to create the sketch, and then the image for the painting... This is all acrylic on canvas. The piece is a special construction canvas, that measures i6 inces by 20 inches, and is 2 inches deep. Opening Night- February 7th, 6pm....

Just a quick update on last nights opening... My piece The Wait of the World, along with the artwork by graffiti artists from around the world, debuted last night to a packed house, long lines and sweet beats.... The entire event was pulled off amazingly, even with the huge crowds and excitement. I just want to thank Man One and Luna George from Crewest Gallery. They are awesome. Thank you so much for including me in this show.. I am too pumped... SO Thanks to ya'll and to everyone that came out last night.... Now the Pictures:

THE ICONIC LONDON EYE-

When you see it you instantly think of London...The Embankment...The River Thames... I like the way it was initially rejected and then eventually people accepted it, now they celebrate it... Our trip on the London Eye was awesome...Thanks Girls...And it immediately made me want to create art based on the concept etc... Manda had already begun to take some great pics of the eye, and eventually we decided to use her picture and base an entire art project around this picture... produce a Photo, an Acrylic, then use the image for a Silk screen, and use it along with a Song Lyric to create a T-Shirt... Anyway... the Photo below is Manda's... This was my starting point...

Pedro hooked us up again and we along with his family went to the match at Stamford Bridge to see the Blues take on Hated Arsenal... Such drama for Arsenal... Pedro arrives...We got to meet his Uncle, Nephew, and Cousins...had a blast at the match, and afterwards talking...Great people.. Thanks again Pedro for an awesome time.

Stamford Bridge is such a great place to watch a Football Match...

The Shed does all the football chants and singing. They keep the crowd going... and the people in the stands are from all over the world, I sat between two Dutch guys pulling for Arsenal, and two Italians pulling for Chelsea...

The crowd starts to get loud about an hour before the match.. the visiting team stands and yells too... the guys from Arsenal stood the entire match...

Waving the flags... and then having the huge flags unfurled over the stadium seats....

Then out come the Players....

Both teams enter at the same time, along with the officals, and a group of kiddos...

Arsenal Traveling Supporters... flags and singing and two finger salute etc...sweet.

Notice the security... not an incident, except Chelsea's fans' hurt feelings after the 2-1 loss.

Shane Alexander - The Sky Below

The dynamic collection of ten new songs was recorded over two weeks during late September / early October in Los Angeles. Shane once again teamed up with LA production duo, Heroes & Villains, with whom he made his 2006 release Stargazer. Longtime sideman and co-conspirator, Chad Crawford appears on bass, Adam Benjamin on piano, and returning from Stargazer are: drummer Charlie Paxson (James Blunt, Colin Hay), multi-instrumentalist Billy Mohler (Macy Gray, Liz Phair), and Kim Bullard (Goo Goo Dolls, Tori Amos) on Hammond organ. Veteran producer / engineer / mixer Toby Wright (Alice In Chains, Wallflowers, Chris Whitely, Trey Anastasio) mixed the record.
Stylistically, the new album has a sound all its own and features some of Alexander's best studio performances to date. There are more up-tempo songs than his previous effort, including the anthemic opener "Amsterdam", the driving "Difference of Opinion" and the groovy "Outside the Lines". After touring so much as a solo acoustic artist, Shane sought to get back to a "band sound" and something that could get a crowd moving. However, there are still the trademark acoustic ballads - the title track is a delicate, infectious song with soft finger-picked guitar and doubled vocals that whisper "all is as it should be" and the sunshine-infused "Coffee Kiss" will be sure to please fans of songs like "Valentine" and "Front Porch Serenade" from his two previous efforts.
In 2007 Shane Alexander performed for the biggest audiences of his career when he opened SEAL's U.S. tour, in addition to his own touring in the US, Canada, Netherlands, Germany, France and Belgium. Nearly all of the songs from the Stargazer album were licensed for television, including: ABC's Brother and Sisters, Big Shots, and What About Brian?, ABC Family's Wildfire, CBS's Criminal Minds, FOX's Bones, MTV's Real World and Laguna Beach and shows and movies for Nickelodeon, and Lifetime – exposing Shane's songs to millions worldwide.
In 2006, Alexander toured constantly and was asked to open two U.S. tours with Jewel and one U.S./Canada tour with Lisa Marie Presley – armed only with an acoustic guitar; he won over thousands of new fans night after night.

Over the past year Shane Alexander and I have become good friends, I value his talent and enjoy his realistic approach to humanity. He is by far one of the greatest people I have met in this city. Our meeting was strange at best; I picked up his CD The Middle Way at Goodwill of all places solely because I liked the cover. Sent him a message on My Space with the subject reading “I guess you are worth $2.99” and when he responded with humor back I automatically was intrigued. He came to a sketch comedy show of mine and as we talked over a few drinks we found out just how small LA truly is. Turns out his old neighbor was my photographer and had mentioned Shane to me back 3 or 4 years ago. As it would turn out we had a lot of people in common and instantly formed a bond. He is a great guy and has a beautiful outlook on life; there is no doubt in my mind that he will succeed at any quest he sets his mind to. Naturally it doesn’t hurt that he is extremely talented. After listening to the first CD I picked up the next two Stargazer and then The Sky Below, when I thought his sound couldn’t get better it did when I checked him out live a few weeks later I was blown away how much he sounds just like the records! I have loads of love for him. He is one talent that I try to never miss live.

I was so happy to be there the entire time, and now that I am back here in LA I really wish that I would have stayed... There is just so much bullshit here, and I have to face the facts...another vacation will be a long time off. I just wish that I could have just stayed....Manda and I had so much fun... I just wanted to say thank you to everyone...AGAIN!!!

THE EUROPEAN TOUR CONTINUES TO AMSTERDAM!

I made Manda go along with Amy and I to see the Rijksmuseum and Hirst's Skull, we then went to the Van Gogh and saw all the works there... and I had my first Sausage Roll.

Outside leading up to the Rijks- we saw Rembrandt's Night Watch, and the Cloth Merchants... impressive. Manda got a great pic of this with the reflection...

Manda, Pedro and I trying to figure out where we are on the map... Amsterdam was small enough that if you ever got lost... just look for the church in Dam Square and you could eventually make you way back to the Swissotel.

SO...As Promised finally an update. I am officially recovered from the vacation I just took to recover from the year I was having... Anyway on to more pictures....

What is up? I finally have taken the time to post a new blog... This trip has been awesome. I am still so jacked that I am actually here in London, and we head off to Amsterdam tomorrow! Andi and Amy have been the greatest hosts; they have been planning on our arrival for months, and they organized a surprise party, got us passes on the London Eye... Just have been fucking awesome. They scooped us up at Heathrow, and we have been having fun non-stop.

I have been treated to some of the very best in London, mostly due to the kindness of Manda's Friend Pedro Phillipou, who is First Team Staff Masseur for Chelsea Football Club. Pedro has treated the two of us as family, and has been an awesome guy from the word go. THANK YOU SO MUCH PEDRO!!!

Painting I did of Nikki Sixx's Hands

I just want to start off by thanking Mikeal Maglieri, Celina Denkins, Tisa Mylar, Jack Whiteman and everyone else that helped me out last night at the Whisky a Go Go. You all were instrumental in getting me to Nikki Sixx, so I could give him the painting I did of his hands. Nikki is a class act guy, and I really think he liked the painting. He was cool enough to get a picture with me with the painting, and thanked me as much as I thanked him. I told him that his book inspired the piece, and that Mikeal wanted me to get to him so he could have it. I know that Celina and the staff at the Whisky let him know I was there, and made sure that he and I would connect after the battle of the bands Motley Crue was judging. I can't say thanks enough to all of ya'll and especially to Nikki, for being such a awesome guy. I like to root for guys that I know are class acts, and Nikki Sixx is a class act.

I spent most of the night hanging out by the Motley Crue bus, back behind the Whisky, I chatted with Jack Whiteman, and the crowd that had formed to see the guys, and all the bands preforming that night at the Whisky, I made a few friends and I just wanted to say what's up to all ya'll too... easier to stay warm out there when there are cool folks to talk to, it really passed the time.

Wow, what a week, I have been pretty involved with politics as of late and we, Manda and I have been all over Los Angeles as a result. First of All CONGRATS TO BARACK. Awesome, and I just want to say that I finally feel like I will have a guy in the White House that I identify with... A young guy if you consider 47 young, that has some great ideas, and a backing from the Democratic Controlled House and Senate, hopefully he will work with the GOP and get this place straightened out. I think he can be a great unifier, and if the Boomers will just give this guy an chance we will see some results.

Now on a completely different note...I was shocked and really utterly disappointed with the State of California's voters decision to ban Gay Marriage in the state. I think that it is truly unfortunate that we as a country, and definitely as a state took such a gigantic leap forward electing Barack Obama President, and then took a giant leap backward to strip the right to marry from the Gays of California. I also am outraged with The Mormon Church and with the Knights of Columbus for backing this proposition. I truly believe that many of the voting public really thought they were voting for Gay marriage when they voted yes on Prop 8. There has been many reports of being misled by the wording of the proposition itself. It is obvious the confusion when even the papers, and the TV news reporters covering the Proposition debate, both before the election, and then in the aftermath, as protesters took to the street, made glaring mistakes explaining the prop's wording, while they tried to explain the outrage produced by its passing. It is also sad to learn that the largest supporters, by demogaphics, for the Prop, came from the Black electorate. They voted overwhelmingly for the Ban... A group finally vindicated with Obama's win, chose to take away rights from Gays, another minority group. Same thing goes for the Hispanics in Los Angeles, a majority voted for it as well. No doubt spurred on by the encouragement of the preachers in the pulpit, both in the Catholic church and in the congregations of Southern Baptists as well. I guess that the Black community will continue to be highly homophobic, and the South will continue to be racist, and the Fly-Overs will continue to be clueless. When will we all finally try and do what is right for all?

The main problems with Prop 8, besides the fact that it is discriminatory, is that it was intentionally, deceptively written, funded by religious zealots, and that the the public was inundated with advertisements in the weeks leading up to the election that were deceptive and used kids as their pawns to scare parents. So much so that some of the Pastors at area churches pushed for their congregations to get involved in this Campaign of HATE. From the pulpit they preached discrimination and Hate, and encouraged their congregation to donate to the cause in the form of cash as well as time. One Mormon Family donated over $50,000, their life savings, to Yes on Prop 8, said they prayed on it, and God told them it was the best thing for their kids and their kids better, better than investing the cash? The state of California has allowed the Mormons to insert religion into the state constitution, and the Knights of Columbus are just as guilty. The folks that preached for the Support of Prop 8 are misguided and ignorant at best; ugly and hateful at worst. If your pastor convinced you to vote for Prop 8 you should be ashamed, California should be ashamed, and this battle will go on. I feel so bad for all my friends. I just feel like it is so wrong to take away a group of people's rights. What started as a little rally in WEHO turned into a huge protest, So my Sister and I marched throughout the streets of Los Angeles, and shut down traffic and made sure that all the people in LA, and all the people in California, and all the people in the U.S. had to see that what the Churches (both the Catholics, and the Mormons) did was not right. The protest have continued and have shut down traffic and got the word out not only in WEHO, and Hollywood, and Long Beach, and Westwood, and in Sandeigo, and San Francisco, it has been all over the cable news channels and on Live on all the local affilites. I know that this will be the main Civil Rights issue for this generation to tackle. I also think that when you say you Love Jesus, and that Jesus loves everyone, and is tolerant, and forgiving, and treated those that others deemed unclean, or inhuman, as friends, then you treat others with no respect, and when you are filled with hate, and you try and pick on people based on differences then you should be ASHAMED. That is NOT CHRISTIAN, PERIOD. That is why I do not associate with the Hypocrites that attend organized religious services. Churches are a breeding ground for homophobia, racism, adultery, gossip, and HATE. Not to mention the mind control tactics, and the requests for financial assistance, and let's not leave out the molestation, mainly the Catholic Priests...So when the Mormons, a group that practices polygamy, and the Catholic Church, an institution that covers up the rape of little boys, begins to dictate social policy, and infringes upon the rights of the people of this state, I feel like something has to be done to put the Jesus Freaks back in line. I just hope that the lawsuits and challenges that go forward begin to spur debate, and lead to the eventual reversal of PROP H8TE.

Hello, Everyone.... I am finally back, it has been almost a month since my last blog... Not my fault entirely... I guess I should catch you all up on what has been happening. I was actually in a holding pattern on this website for the last month or so because the webguy that was hired to build the site decided he didn't want to finish it, because he had done too much work for too little pay... Apparently he thought he could just make me wait forever... This site was supposed to be fully operational by June/July 2008....that was over four months ago... and he was still not finished. The main problem was that he was a friend of my family, and I thought I was getting a deal, instead I was getting the shaft. I have learned a very valuable lesson in this whole ordeal, but I will leave you to draw your own conclusions.

What else has been going on you ask? Well, I have begun to develop a clothing line with my sister, Manda,called Loss Angeless, yes that's right not a typo, there are supposed to be four "S's". Loss Angeless Clothing will be in boutiques soon, is available currently by commission, and can be seen on musicians, artists, and actors around the city, and soon around the globe. We decided to get musicians, celebs, athletes to wear the line, a quick promotional trick I know, and we have had minimal successes so far.. Just need to get to the next step... automation. Being away for so long I haven't been able to bring up the debates the election etc... I know that all of ya'll out there have been watching this like it's a football game for about as long as the NFL season.... It seems like decades ago since the primaries, and now with only two weeks to go I am really starting to get election fatigue. I guess most out there have made up their mind about how they are going to vote. I just hope that when Barrack is elected he does what he says he will. I just hope that he tries to unite this country, and with a majority in the House and the Senate the Democrats will have a chance to push through legislation that can help this fucking place....they have to get it done. And honestly if we don't find a new economic boom, hopefully in the green-eco job sector etc... a new fuel; a new way to look at energy etc... We can be the new leaders in that new technology... if we make the choices now and we try to build that sector instead of chasing after the last century and continue to mortgage the future of this society so we can drive dinosaurs from Detroit... what the fuck are we doing?

The entire economic mess holy shit. and all of this with two wars going on halfway around the world. I was watching a PBS special last nite on KCET on LBJ. I guess it was 12 or so last nite, and I was thinking watching that... how closely some of his presidency is mirrored by bush with the regard to Terrorism, if that is really a word, not a made up concept... Vietnam was fought for the same antiquated backass reasoning as Iraq is being waged right now, and Afghanistan is a complete re-run of Vietnam too. It is like Bush dodge the real thing in the 60's and now he has two mini-Vietnams, with no draft, and private security forces like Blackwater being paid 3 times as much as our troops so we can protect our interest in the middle east, strategically position ourselves to fuck with Iran next, and funnel cash to the big shooters that have the gov't contracts to "rebuild" what we leveled flat with our shock and awe and initial invasion.

Vietnam killed LBJ, who was a no-good career politician, that lucked into the job when they capped JFK, and then this guy who ran on a segregationist platform for the senate, decides he wants to be Abe Lincoln, and create The Great Society... The only problem was for his re-election he had to appear tough on the Commies so he sent troops to Vietnam and used them as pawns in his re-election, further escalating the war through-out the presidential race to gain further support, even while he was leading Goldwater by an insurmountable lead. How many kids were killed so LBJ could make up for his failed electoral bids? He stole his first election, and he had a hand in stealing the election for Kennedy in 1960, now he was blasting Goldwater, flying stop to stop in a helicopter, and tossing out his stetson over the crowd, which he had retrieved by aides, and was fucking pissed if they didn't get it back and took it out of their check to replace them.... He reminds me of Bush.. He was supposed to be a great guy, funny, endearing warm etc, but could be nasty, rude, stubborn and a complete fucking dick. LBJ never read a book. This is not a jab, this is a fact, I am not saying he is illiterate, I am just saying he never read a book, and he didn't follow sports, nor play them, and he was a completely lost when it came to anything except politics, so he was in the truest form a career politician, and that is all he knew, I think that Bush is a lot like him... He seems like a nice guy, he acts like he is on a mission from GOD, and I really think he thinks he is doing the right thing...or he really is a fucking dumbass, or a the greatest pimp in the world. Use 9-11 whether it was your doing or not to declare essentially martial law, enact the Patriot act change the Constitution, take away our rights, scare the hell out of everyone, back up and bankrupt the airlines, drive fuel prices through the roof, piss away trillions of dollars on a war with a country that had nothing to do with our fucking problems, and now we allow the stock market top nosedive, and we as taxpayer have to bail them all out WTF? WMD's? Unbelievable...

Let me get this right Guys with box-cutters jumped the pilots and staff, no one stopped them, and they flew into the twin towers, the pentagon, and into a field in PA. Right, and then as a retaliation we Americans were told to Spend. and that we would get the guys that did it...except I really think the guys that did it were the same guys that said they were going to find.. Kinda like O.J. when he said he would never rest until he found the real killer...Never rest...except to play golf, write a book about how you did it, and commit armed robbery in Las Vegas... Bush got exactly what he wanted another Pearl Harbor, a way to make the cattle scared again so they will consume and give their rights away for the imaginary illusion of safety...and to unite in a common cause behind Bush and Jesus against Islam, and anyone else that was not on our side, whatever that means...He has created a new cold war, but better, these guys are smart, now instead of a country that we have to hate, and they can collapse ie: USSR, we have Terrorist, and anyone can be one, mainly you have to have dark skin, and a different point of view than Bush or the Right etc, but mainly dark skin... main requirement. But look at McVeigh; Terrorist; Bill Ayers, etc terrorists, just like Bin Laden,remember him, and all those other guys that look like him... New scary enemy and the best thing is all they have to do is call in a terror alert anytime they want to get the cattle's attention. Stupid Kennedy having to wait around for Castro and Khrushchev to stir up some real shit. Bush and the boys just invent it and suddenly we are in Iraq, and now if we aren't careful Iran, or Pakistan, shit wee are already running raids there, like Laos and Cambodia during Vietnam... We are just now being told, but it has been going on for 4 years.

My take on this whole thing is real simple BUSH doesn't read either. LBJ obviously never picked up a book on Vietnam, and or its history, and as a result made horrendous mistakes that mirrored the French, now Bush is mirroring LBJ. This will be his legacy, a gigantic mess. It really makes you embarrassed.. We made all this shit up to make people scared and then we fuck that up by not catching the guy we blamed, instead we go and pick a fight with a dude that we got elected, and then somehow try to tie the two together... Unbelievable. But America is so fucking stupid that it bought it, and now after spending all that time money and lives in Iraq we still cant just pick up and leave, even as our economic woes worsen, wouldn't it be nice to have the government help out its citizens instead of rebuild Iraq, a country that hates us for invading them, is still trying to blow our troops up, and can't run a hot dog cart much less a country. I just see other countries around the world and they have low crime rates high literacy rate, nationalized heath care, and their citizens pay less taxes, and live longer, breathing clean air, Shit Monaco gives it's subjects free cable TV. I just would like to see us come home from the wars, fix the economy with new eco jobs, and get healthcare under control. The market will correct itself, and the tax payers don't need to keep footing the bill for Bush's fuck-ups. Hell Nixon was a crook, but at least he got us out of Vietnam. Maybe Barrack can get us out of Iraq and then we as a nation have to pull together not divide apart. I just can't see how some one could possibly vote for the McCain-Palin ticket. I guess there are so many people out there that watch Fox news, and live in the 1960's, thinking that segregation is a good thing, and that this place is going to hell in a handbasket, because women want the right to choose. I guess they want a dumbass like themselves to be President of Vice-President. I thought that was what happened last time, W.? I think we should have some one that is smart someone that is smarter than a fifth grader, smarter than Joe the Plummer, and Smarter than BUSH. I want some one I can count on to get people's names right, be coherent, and not look like corpse. Obama is the first Candidate for President that I think resembles me at all. and I am not talking skin tone. I am talking about intelligence, something that actually matters. I will be so glad when we as a country finally elect the smart guy, not the retard that puts the lampshade on his head and pees on the TV.

Here's the kicker, this election is going to divide and already has, this county, just like the elections of the 1960's divided this country. Mainly young and old, parents and children, and unfortunately across this county black and white male and female. I hope we all come back together after this shit is over... I don't need a re-run of those long hot summer nights, or the assignations that preceded and followed... I hope we as a country have really truly turned the corner..however, I was watch a piece on the election machines produce by Diebold that were used in the 2000 and 2004 election, and I know for a fact after watching that documentary that there was voter fraud in both of those elections, and the systems manufacturer was donating to political parties all over the country to get the contracts... The software is hackable, and I really think that if this election doesn't come out like the exit polls we will have a recount or a riot this time. I just hope that the people are heard this time.

My main concern for Nov 4th is that people will get in the booth in those battleground states like Ohio, or Michigan, or Virginia, or Mew Mexico and Nevada, and they will have their votes altered or not reported or counted as negative, or worse yet tossed out... Just like in Florida, right now those same machines with the same glitches are still in use all over the country, and Diebold and the other machine suppliers are getting multimillion dollar contracts... They all but guarantee the election to the officials that approve the purchase of the machines, and we a re talking about Millions of Dollars and thousands of votes.

ALSO you have the I Hate Niggers factor. There are tons of folks out there in those same states that just can't vote for a black man. They will say they haven't made up their mind that they are undecided, all they are undecided about is which lie they will tell to themselves to justify voting for McCain. They know deep inside they are racist, and they can't bring themselves to say it, also most of these people also hate gays, and anyone that is not in love with Jesus, as well as everyone else out there that is not like them; small minded, bigoted, racist, and ignorant. These are the people that McCain and Palin are playing to now, they are running on hate. And really folks if that is what this country is all about, idiots easily swayed by scare tactics and duped by Jesus and Soccer Milfs into shotgun weddings and cubical beautification projects. There is no surprise that the country that is addicted to credit and drugs, uses credit to buy drugs to numb the pain of being broke and addicted to drugs...

Also on one last pathetic note. The Cowboys have officially fucking lost it... Wade is lost, ROMO, what a fucking Pussy, you make how much?, Pacman, are you serious? and T.O shut the fuck up dude and catch some passes. And the Dallas Secondary OMFG unbelieable, has more whole in it that Sarah Palin's Resume. I am offically done with these guys. The Red Sox are also out of the playoffs. I will say this much they played their ass off, especially Coco Crisp, Dustin Pedroia, Bay, and J. D. Drew when he played....disappointed with Papi, and the rest... they needed to come up big one last time and they just couldn't get it done... Good luck Rays and Phils, I won't be watching unless my Bud Ry wants to, he is a Phillies Phan... So yeah he hates life pretty much, except this year I hope his team gets it done. I was supposed to be seeing Terrence Howard last night… however after arriving at the Viper Room with my sister and friends, we learned that he had actually cancelled and there was not going to be a show. I guess that there wasn’t enough ticket sales etc… or whatever… I guess we were the only people that were excited to hear him… HA.

So we all went up the street to Sunset, and walked East to The Whiskey Bar inside the Sunset Marquis Hotel… Always a great place to have a drink… Peter is always friendly at the Valet service, and the Staff is always friendly plus, the crowd last night was good for 9:30PM on a Tuesday…

We left and headed to Chateau Marmont, and had Appetizers, Drinks Desert and Coffee in the Hotel Lobby Bar, and we had a great time just talking and laughing while people watching…

Speaking of people watching…We saw Kevin Sorbo and friends when we actually gave them our cab, as they were leaving Chateau… “Close-Talker” Kevin… Nice though, and a good runner uphill in dress shoes.

I went out to LAX Tuesday afternoon to pick –up a couple of friends from the airport… hopefully they will be dropping Manda and I off in NOV for the trip to Europe, so I don’t mind the run, but I hate the airport… I actually was the random person the LAPD stopped entering the Airport, and after they check the trunk etc, said hello, I was on my way, didn’t look like they were checking too closely, but I guess they know what they are doing… the fact they were even checking me was odd. Whatever, If they can convince an entire Nation the best response to Planes Hitting The World Trade Center is a War in Iraq, I guess they can ask us to jump and the entire country will have to jump. Anyway, after the flight was delayed and I drove lap after lap like Dale Earnhardt, Jr. really slowly, I got pulled over again this time by a Motorcycle Cop… I guess I didn’t come to a complete stop turning around for the 5th time to make the loop to go back and pick the guys up… He eventually let me go after we discussed the finer points of my Cadillac’s window tinting… Whatever… I just better have a ride to the airport in NOV Ry.

The whole problem with Los Angeles is the entire freeway system, most of the surface streets, and the entire police force is governed and was established by fucking RETARDS…. I guess eventually they will outsource the jobs to India, or Myanmar like the rest of this country, and then maybe someone will actually do the job and fuck it up instead of not even trying at all…Accent or NOT. I hope that I am rich soon so I can have a driver, that way I never have to deal with traffic, and cops, and crazy pedestrians and right turn lane-red light runners, the chicks that put on make-up and talk on cells, or text too…. I HAVE A SOLUTION.

and all the other crazy people that are somehow driving around still believing they are in their native country where cutting-up and cooking chicken while operating a late 80’s model motor vehicle is a completely acceptable everyday routine practice. Where do these Fuckin’ people come from, and why are they drawn like a moth to the flame of LA? I think that not only does LA have the worst air the best looking women, the coldest beaches, and the fattest Homeless people but it also may have the highest concentration of idiots than any other place except the Midwest, and Mississippi, DUH? They flock here I guess, or maybe it is the sheer numbers…. I hate driving here because depending on the time of day you try and tackle this city you may encounter not obstacles, or you may hit a brick wall of gridlock, and it can happen anywhere in this city… Everyone drives even with $4 gas, now they just are more pissed off, but still clueless, oh a just wait till it rains…

I just taught myself to sew, unbelievable what you can do, when you really want to. I BOUGHT A Singer and I can make seams etc, interesting day… I taught myself Algebra in 8th Grade, and I guess that if I can do that I can do anything. So now I guess I am a Seamer? Definitely not a seamstress, and I am going to put together some patterns tomorrow, I have them all drawn up already, at least for one T-Shirt, I have plenty of fabric to practice on old t-shirts etc, and I have thread and needles, and a DREAM….HA. I am a DESIGNER :)

SO, I hope they do well, and I hope they win, and I still promise that I will watch them this year, at least the games I can because I live on the West Coast…BUT if they don’t win this year after the last two years ‘ B.S. I will never Watch another ballgame. Mark it Down.

On another Note, I actually heard from an old friend today too, and he is back in the Mid-West pursuing a college degree in Architecture, and I am happy for him. He seems like he really is headed in the right direction, and He sounds good, and I hope we get to meet up later this fall, maybe in Europe…. Go get them B.M.O.C ZACH.

I guess I am going to turn in… Oh and I just registered to Vote, 1st time I am voting for President, I am 30, I never have had a guy that I really thought was going to do something for me… I hope Obama doesn’t Fuck this Up… I’m Voting for him. I guess this is just the beginning of a really long trip… I know what Hunter meant about Fear and Loathing, I have been experiencing them both and at the same time these feelings are punctuated with highs that rival all my hopes and dreams… I have got to get this whole thing off the ground before I go fucking nuts…

I spent the beginning of my day in Los Feliz, at Fresh Pressed; a T-Shirt Place that can put out custom T’s the Silk Screen method etc… I hope later to meet up with them again and try and put together some samples for the gangster line, but right now I guess I will have to silk-screen them myself here at the house and create Kustom T’s like my Kustom Kicks, one at a time, by hand…. After the trip by Fresh Pressed, I drove back towards the house, and went down Melrose, to check out the new boutiques, and the Art Galleries, I know it won’t be long until I am in the galleries and shops, I just have to make a Brand and them sell the world (but first celebs, and inside Hollywood-LA crowd types), then I can start to really make a difference for Art in the World. I whizzed by the shops and the Galleries, there are a ton of new places down that way, and some of my favorites have all been replaced by new shops that have taken over the market with their new brands…. Affliction, Ed Hardy, and the like have Consumed Teenage Millionaire, and Von Dutch, I guess that most places survive on the current trends …. Figures the whole US has ADD, or ADHD, or some kind of Drugs… You almost have to self-medicate to deal with daily b.s.

After the shops and galleries, I headed to the fabric store, and home to finish up some Artwork, and then try and prep up for this T-Shirt Making extravaganza… I guess the whole thing is going to be a fucking blast… I have always wanted to do this, so here goes I guess…

On an entirely different note, I hope My Monday goes as planned, a huge piece of my Heart is tied up in a project that is going to get its start that afternoon… just a beginning hopefully a huge beginning to a whole other chapter in this crazy life I have decided to travel…

I guess I will eventually be happy…with what I am doing, with my life…

So I am sitting here hammering this out and thinking about all this time that I have wasted with my life… or was it all prep for the rest of the challenges life is going to throw at me like it does everyone else out there, I am not stupid, I realize life is hard… I guess that you just have to keep pushing forward toward your dreams…My Dream is to be a great artist, and to share my art with the World.

I was always fascinated with art and the fact that I could replicate and duplicate, and could immitate the guys that I thought were so good, Like MC ESCHER, this guy was amazing… These are a few preliminary sketches I did for a project in high school, I guess I was a freshman, Sophromore, or so… Eventually I painted a series of Escher Images on My wall in my room, I will scan in the picture eventually and I’ll post it up here, so you can see for now check this out.

I had other dreams, too, I was talking with my sister, and she said that she always wanted to be an actor, I guess I really wanted to be an artist all along, but I just kept doing other things for other people, and never really completely went all out to pursue my dreams, I just took gigs, and tried to make sure that I had a back-up plan, but at what cost? I wasn’t ever really happy, and I guess I needed to deal with all of that myself… OH WELL.

NOW, with that being said, I AM HAPPY NOW… More happy about what I have going on in my life than ever before… but that doesn’t mean that I don’t worry about stuff, hell I need to have some paintings bid on and sell on eBay, I need to have people buy Paintings off my site, I need people to buy my clothing off the net or out of a boutique… But that all comes with time, and I just have to keep exploring this creative energy that I have to make a living and hope that other people also get excited about all of the things I make too.

I have had quite a day … it started at 7:00am…. not a morning guy, and I used to get up and unlock the weight room work kids out etc at 5 am or earlier HATED THAT SHIT. But Today it was different; Manda had an audition for The Ex-List, a new Stu Segal production, so we had to drive down to San Diego, this morning, and back…. BUT the HOV helps, so anyway…yeah carpool. I hope she gets this thing she is due, man… so good, she just needs someone to give her a chance.

I came back and immediately started to get stuff up and going for this site, and all the changes I hope you guys that have been looking at the site etc…. Like the new look, and the new format, thanks Chris, looks great… I know it is a process, and if so,,,, we almost have a HOT DOG by now.

I know that you will like the Faces that are up and soon there will be more celebrities, Movie Stars, and a whole slew of cars, landscapes, animals etc, as well as still lifes, and the like all at 6”X6” size… who can’t use a little painting for a small space at home or work, or in the kitchen or bathroom. These guys are great framed or unframed…. Check um out.

I am also going to start listing the larger pieces as well, and see what kind of action I begin to see, please take a look at the auctions, and look at the sites and leave me a message. I just want to build up an artist’s community and hopefully more people out there will get to see the artwork I make.

I found out some info about a guy that I just met, found out he is not who he said he was, and is bad news, so typical here in L.A. There are so many people that lie and think that just because they act like they are important they can get you something etc… I knew better than to even listen, but, I want to explore every AVE…. OH well, didn’t cost me anything except some time. He said some rude things about folks I know, and love, and that just doesn’t fly, and when I checked into the validity of his story it didn’t wash out… I guess he thought I was dumb even though he couldn’t keep from marveling at my intelligence… DUMMY mE… LIKE PLAYING CRAPS …. Have to hand it to L.A. there are some real ZEROS out there…

I love this town LA, and I love SOCAL, and I love SD…and this is why…. I spent a lot of time in the car today, and I drew a little and sketched out some ideas and I ran lines with Manda, and I checked out the other girls reading at Stu Segal, and I observed…. Lots of Nice looking girls, especially one in particular… I, we, stopped by Elegance, and I let them know I was back in Cali, maybe they might send me out, and I am SAG….HA. I got two call for auditions while I was in TX, and couldn’t fly back in here, so this is good…. and Pam Pahnke, and Carmina, and all the staff at Elegance is awesome, we love them, and I will have to send them a new set of head shots with my long hair now, we’ll see….. Maybe they need some hippie, surfer, stoner, rocker, long-haired dude for some damn something, You would think…… I got back here and have been working on ART and killing time, I think that I am so consumed with everything all day, and all nite, I just haven’t been sleeping, it’s the stress, of starting a new biz, and having a couple of cool deals coming down the pipe, and all that jazz, I really have to get some more sleep, and to exercise, so tonite I am starting this early I am done with NIKKI, and I will get some shut eye 2nite. FINALLY!!!!

I have been getting up every day and repeating the same phrase to myself, for encouragement, from the time I decided to start this business, and to focus on painting.

It is as follows: “I will make $2.2 Million by my 35th Birthday, by working tirelessly to build a company around myself and my Artwork.”

I say that every Morning when I get up and everynite when I go to bed… I have been saying for some time now, all those days walking down Cypress Station Drive to the Nut House… oh my GOD, OMFG… I hated that, at least I kept soldiering on, I just knew that eventually I would be out here, and I also knew I didn’t have a long time to go, and the fact that I worked with good people and was hired by an awesome dude, Dr. Ron Nelms, made it a good experience I never want to do again, I guess…. what’s up to you folks there at Intracare North, like Dena, and Ms. Joyce… ya’ll need to quit smoking, SO do I, HA. I guess It will always be a part of me just like everything else I have experienced.

I have had quite a CRAZY few months, and I guess I should start at the beginning, even though this is the First Entry in this blog. I guess I have been working on creating my own business for about a year or so, and I spent much of that time working at a Mental Ward, pushing papers, as I plotted my strategies for this website’s inception. But there is no way I could have done it alone….SO,

I want to take the time to acknowledge my family, especially my Mom and Dad and my sister Manda Leigh, who is an awesome actress, and suggested I speak to a friend about doing shoes-BRILLIANT; and of course my buds, like Ry-Heen Kline, and David Perry, both talented Performers and Artists in their own right, and my Brit Friends back in the UK: Amy, Andi, Olly and Chloe, I will be bringing gifts for ya’ll in NOV. I promise…. Nice nod to my boy Gary Rue$ink, helped make my eBay look sick, and as well as my web-man, Chris Gouras, who has transformed the idea into a reality. Thanks Mikeal for making me believe that I can do this shit on the highest level….And thanks to The Whisky a Go-Go and the Rainbow Bar & Grill, and all the folks that work there and get their mail there. You guys have seen my art and my shoes and have always pumped me up and helped with suggestions ….SO THANKS to all of YOU. Also I want to say thank you to all the folks, like Shiva’s Garden Caregivers, that are currently working with me to display my artwork , and my Kustom Kicks, I am hoping that this is just the beginning…

Travi$ Theory 1: When you want it bad enough, you will get it; just make sure you know what to do with it, when you do get it.

I have been creating art my entire life and I love to paint and draw. I decided to go to college twice… instead of painting and drawing for a living I coached football and got a Masters, WHY?

I began to realize that I had to make art to be happy, I had to take the best thing I do, the one thing I do better than anyone else, and make that my career, and make that my life… (Sorry Dirk Diggler Moment there)…SO I began to paint again, and create again, and now I am putting together a business based on me and my Artwork. I like saying that, I really like saying that…. and I guess that even though I may be broke in the city of Angels, at least I am trying to Live the Dream. I love when Cruise says that in Vanilla Sky, “Just Living the Dream…” or McConaughey says “Just Keep LIVIN, L-I-V-I-N…..” I feel like I am trying to do that, and right now I guess all the excitement and the nervous anticipation is beginning to get to me a little. People have begun to see my artwork and they like it and I am beginning to actually try and pursue a career in ART… I always wanted to be a famous Artist when I was a little kid…. I even had a comic strip in the Newspaper… but for some reason I decided to check in to college, and then study Architecture, and then teach history, and coach Football…WHAT?

I am complicated I guess….I wanted to go to NYU and live in the city and be an artist, but I didn’t so what…SO I’m doing it now. And here in LA I never have to shovel snow, just bullshit. So LA….

Travi$ Theory 2: 99% of all people in Hollywood, West Hollywood, Lo$$ Angele$$, etc are full of ShiT.

I know it’s not an original theory, but that leads me to my first RULE:

Travi$ RULE 1: Trust no one. I know it’s simple and obvious but so is Paris Hilton and look how popular she has been.

Even with all that being said, I LOVE LA, more than Randy Newman, more than Jack Nicholson, and more than all the paparattzi, because of the energy and the style and feel, and the noise and everything about this place. I love the diversity, and the way people get along, and try and make it work, and this is a city that is enormous. I love to explore the city and I was doing a lot more of that before Dubs(GWB) and the rest of the fat cats pushed up the price at the pump… I guess I will have to break down and get a shoe( Smart For2)… or go HYBRID, or ELECTRIC?

..SO, anyway this website and my ART Career… I guess I just needed to kick myself in the ASS, and start producing, and with encouragement from my friends and family, that is exactly what I did, and now I have this up and running, I am producing artwork daily, and I am trying to get a show together. I am also in talks with a major shoe line, and a prominent venue to produce a line of shoes… I know things are starting to happen, in fact I have to tell you a story that really kept me going back in July…

I actually had the pleasure to meet Marc Busey, who is brother to Diablo Cody, Oscar Winner, etc.. and their cousin Bobby, and eventually cousin Billy. My sister actually made the connection, and as a result they purchased two pieces of artwork from me. One Beverly Hills Sky 1, which they gave to Diablo(Brooke) for her birthday. The other piece was given to Bobby’s Father, Marc’s Uncle… He is a big Elvis Fan, I hope he enjoys it. I was fortunate enough to accompany my sister to Diablo’s B-Day party at the Playboy Mansion, and had the pleasure of meeting Diablo, and she and Marc’s parents, and they were so awesome. Real down-to-earth good folks, and a few celebs, I just knew that Drew Barrymore would catch me staring at her and her MAC guy boyfriend would have to be a tough guy or something, glad they broke up.. DREW if you are free…let me know. Met Courtney Love, awesome woman, just as nice as the last time I spoke with her… But the nicest people there besides the Hosts (Hef, the Girls, and of Course Diablo) was Jonathan Knight, and his brother Jordan, I didn’t meet Joey McIntyre, he used to live near me on Sunset always waved…Nice guy, and my sister’s Friend Harley, who happened to be attending the party with the NKOTB. Such nice guys…we actually took the shuttle back to our cars at UCLA, together, and talked the whole way back, our group….ha. I felt like I was a New Kid. Cool. I really thought that that would be the beginning… and I have just now got this website up and going…Like Maxwell Smart,”…would you believe September?”

Travi$ Theory 3: Right before the big break you always have to be damn near dead broke, and on the edge of insanity…..

I am damn near broke and on the edge of insanity, if this was a film I would meet Richard Gere, or rob a bank, or have someone leave it to me in a will, so I guess I am about to hit it big…..I need it now more than ever, and I can taste the whole thing, the Kobe Beef….SHIT…. I hope that I can hold out long enough for all these good things to happen, and not dwell on things that are in the past. The best thing about my life right now is that I am in control of it, I am the one who produces paintings, and clothing, and that is what I always have wanted to to…Be my own boss…work for myself not the man. Only way to ever make it in this Capitalistic Mecca……SELL OUT and SELL OUT FAST!!!

I am about to go to bed, because I am accompanying my sis to SD tomorrow for a Audition for The Ex List, know she’s gonna’ kill it, but the drive really blows, I will most likely work on designs, sketches etc, and keep her company run lines etc for her… We help each other out and try and push each other, we are a Team here in this F’n place. But I was watching Hard Knocks on HBO Cowboys Training camp season, etc… and Jerry Jones was up addressing the team about Making Money, and being a businessman. He was pretty funny and profound, Jerry said “There are 5 important rules for Doing Business, First rule is Get the Money, (and when you can get upfront)…then he said” I forgot the rest of them because after that first rule the rest really don’t matter…shit….. I just thought it was funny..

Working on a new acrylic piece it’s a painting of Nikki Sixx’s Hands tonite/today… and I will post it in the website when it’s done. I also will be working on a few more… and I will begin to use this blog as an update on pieces that are at various stages of completion. And as a way to vent… so Hang in there Folks.
